There used to be a time when a Google AdSense ad was something of a novelty and everybody wanted to try it.

Several years later, every single web user has clicked on a pay-per-click ad, from Google or any other PPC ad network. People just aren’t compelled to click like they were, in 2007 and 2008 which were the banner years for publishers.

So what’s going to happen to publishers if web visitors don’t click their pay-per-click ads, anymore?

Well, for one thing, they’re going to have to rely on a lot less money to pay their rent and mortgages, which is bad news for everybody because the overall quality of the ad-supported destinations might go down if there’s no business case in keeping them active and up-to-date.

Without getting into specific numbers, some publishers are reporting that they’re lucky if they get 100 clicks from some 5,000 visitors, in a day. That adds up to mere pocket change so nobody can live off of that.

Those who publish web site know how hard it is to get a sustained level of 5k visitors daily and how astronomically hard it is to sustain 10 times that, at 50k. Why talk about 50,000 visitors? Because, apparently, that’s the new level of visitors you need to make over 50$ a day, in pay-per-click money. Whew!

So with the ads stacked so unfavorably against the publishers, with visitors who see no point in clicking ads on one side and low paying advertisers on the other, it’s basically pointless to develop web sites, at all.

Wiping the floor at Burger King pays more than getting 50k unique visitors to your site, if pay-per-click ads is your source of revenue. In many ways, it’s both twisted and somewhat pathetic.

So, what do you do to make money with your current visitors if you’re going to make any serious money with PPC ads, anymore?

You’ll probably think of something —but— allow me to suggest that you open your very own web services reselling store, where people can buy domain names and web hosting, at a price you determine.

The 24h service and invoicing is all taken care of, for you. All you need to do it place ads for your new online store in your web properties and wait for the checks to come rolling in. And those checks mean business, for real.

With a 10$ markup on domain names, if you sell just 10 per day, on your 5k daily visitor stream, that’s 100$ more in your pockets, per day. Add the web hosting, SSL certificates and countless other goodies that your visitors can buy and you see how quickly it all adds up.

If pay-per-click ads leave visitors unimpressed, you just need to sell them what they’re buying and what they want are quality web services. With Coolest.Name, you deliver exactly that, and more!

The famed domain name reseller, GoDaddy, rakes in hundreds of millions of dollars on a yearly basis.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could make part of that money reselling domain name using THEIR infrastructure?

Ys, indeed, it would!

So how can that happen?

All you have to do is go to Coolest.Name which resells GoDaddy’s Wild West Domains’ reseller packages at the lowest cost, online. Buy your own online storefront (take 2 or 3 minutes) and you’re good to go.

After that, you can customize your storefront all you like but basically, it’s ready to generate money for you, right there and then. GoDaddy sells the services you’re looking for so it just makes sense to profit from their enviable market position to get richer, too.

Anybody can resell web services, domain names and web hosting but Coolest.Name has the finest offer on the market. Everything is included and all you need to do is market your storefront. It practically sells itself although you’ll make a lot more money if you market it actively.

If you need to make money, fast, getting your own online web services storefront makes perfect sense.

The financial crisis might still be in full swing as the general public isn’t saved by anyone (only the major banks and transnationals have that privilege) but people, from all over the world, are still buying up web services.

What are “web services“? Well, they include the following…

domain names;

web hosting;

website builders & tools;

email hosting & management;

secure (SSL) certificates; and

e-commerce.

If you’re reading this article, you’re probably very familiar with these web services.

What you need to know, however, is how to use GoDaddy’s massive technical infrastructure to reap part of the profits of this expansive market.

You, your family and neighbors have purchased at least one of the aforementionned services, in the last year. Multiply that by the billion (and more) people accessing the internet, every single day. If you play your cards intelligently, you’ll not just make “a lot of” money but “boatloads” of money.

For instance, just use Twitter or Facebook to tell all your contacts, on a regular basis (without spamming) that you offer domain names at very low prices and that you offer a long list of free features with every single domain purchased from your online store, you’ll see how fast the numbers add up.

Better yet, GoDaddy, through its Wild West Domains reseller division, will handle all the money for you and send you a nice check, by mail (it can also be sent electronically, if you prefer). I’m old fashioned so I prefer checks… but that’s just me!

Google AdSense revenues have tanked but fortunately, I’ve been getting a steady revenue stream from my domain name reselling business and I’ve been basically spared from the current recession (domains show no sign of slowing down so I should be fine). Maybe AdSense will eventually pick up but for now, web publishers who have an online storefront selling domain names are faring much better than those who rely solely on Google’s ad service.

So if you’re serious about making lots of money reselling web services for profit, using GoDaddy’s infrastructure, go directly to Coolest.Name, the most affordable place online to buy your Wild West Domains reseller account.

You’ll love both the business and the money you’ll get from it.

Not only are domain names pivotal to most of today’s businesses but they selling them, along with their accompanying services, is a largely recession proof way to make money. Even if the economy is bad, companies need to keep up their online presence going.

By opening up your reseller store, here’s what you get…

No deposits, advances or revenue sharing;

Your storefront can be live in minutes;

24/7 product support for your customers (which answers with YOUR COMPANY NAME — wow!);

Automated billing & renewals for over 50 products;

Turnkey Web site, including cart and credit card processing;

Marketing tools like Marketing Email Service, Advertising Tracking, and Email & Press Release templates;

Free Software & Extras helps you run your business;

Google AdWords and Microsoft adCenter credits to help you draw traffic to your site.

And a lot more — yes, there’s a lot more included with your web services reseller account.

Everybody can now resell domain names, web hosting and SSL hosting —to name only those— through their very own recession-proof web services store.

If you’ve been making LESS money with Google AdSense, lately, it seems you’re not alone.

Savvy web publishers from across the web, in the US and across the world, have been feeling the heat since around February of 2009, after Google had integrated DoubleClicks’ inventory of “CPM” ads (which aren’t welcome with PPC publishers).

Nobody knows much about what goes on at Google but lots of informed observers have speculated that by integrating very low paying CPM ad campaigns in the pay-per-click zones, the revenues went from a potential 40 cents per click to something akin to 1/100th of a cent per display — which might explain part of the revenue landslide publishers are pointing to.

And it’s not just the banners ads…

Web publishers who feared the DoubleClick inventory integration thought that by turning off the banner ads in their AdSense preferences, they could evade the revenue massacre but that’s not the case because now, rumor has it that large advertising accounts can actually purchase text-based PPC ads using the CPM model.

In other words, web publishers now have to accept the CPM model even if it comes with revenues that can be hundreds of times smaller than regular PPC. And wether this is the reason or not for the revenue drop, the bottom line is that web publishers are making less money now than in 2007 or 2008.

2009 is such a bad year for Google AdSense publishers that some are questionning wether it will ever bounce back — less optimistic reviewers are announcing the fall of AdSense but that’s probably pushing it too far. AdSense is probably going through a phase but how long will that phase be? Are we talking months or years?

Allthewhile, Google is posting healthy profits. Nothing fancy but way beyond the kind of money web publishers are making (proportionately). Why are publishers seemingly the only ones getting hit by the revenue drop? Honestly, nobody knows… except Google, and they won’t tell.

So if you’re an AdSense publisher and you’re tired of being stress out to pay your rent or mortgage at the end of each month, try my domain name, web hosting and SSL certificates online reselling store, for a change. It’s 100% ready to go, completely self-updated and the live 24/7 customer support agents will even answer in YOUR NAME (like, “Hello, this is ‘Company ABC’. How may I help you?”).

AdSense will probably bounce back, at some point but can you afford to wait?

If you want money fast, keep you pay-per-click ads active BUT make sure to advertise your newly created web services store where all your customers will have the opportunity to buy what they crave to have: domain names, web hosting and all sorts of awesome services that assist web builders of all types.

If AdSense bounces back and you already have your online store running, then, you’ll have two sources of revenue making you richer. You can go wrong selling domain names and web hosting…

Google AdSense‘s revenue for publishers is lower than ever but at least, it’s humanly feasible to submit an application and get accepted.

With Yahoo!’s Publisher Network (YPN), it’s extremely hard to get in but there’s a minuscule sliver through which you may get invited so that also something you can plan on (however long that plan may take to materialize).

But the absolute worse of all the pay-per-click networks is…

Microsoft!

Yep, the Redmond giant which messes up so many things it touches has managed to burn billions of dollars in absolutely nothing of any worth to bring about the lamest excuse for an ad network, ever. Microsoft has called this horrible creature “PubCenter Publisher” giving out the false impression that publishers actually have a remote chance to be accepted within their realm of mediocrity.

For now and most likely for a very long time, the PubCenter is in beta (yes, the beta “thing”, again) so whenever something messes up, they blame it on the ongoing development which nobody can prove or disprove.

And if you’re completely out of your mind and still want to be a M$ publisher, here’s what you need…

you must have a US address; plus

a US Social Security number or a US IRS tax ID number; and

you must also fill out an online W9 form.

So if you live outside of the US, you’re toast!

And if you’re a US-based web publisher marketing international web properties, expect only your US-based “clicks” to count, which is very frustrating since the real growth is happening outside the United States, right now.

Furthermore, since the PubCenter is an invitation only club, you can submit your site all you want, only the insanely huge, top-tier web destinations ever catch M$’ attention.

But it gets even worse…

Assuming you become a PubCenter publisher, your first site needs to be approved and then, all your other sites need to go through the entire process of being approved… again. And there’s a maximum of 10 sites! Talk about backwards.

In their Terms of Service (ToS), M$ writes “Publishers subject to backup withholding are not eligible to participate in the adCenter Publisher program and will receive no payments.” — so even after proving you’re fine and dandy, everything can skid in weird directions! Wouhou…

And last but not least…

You’re only allowed to use a Microsoft Windows-equipped PC (and they really check for that). A Mac or Linux computer will be permanently excluded from their program. It’s braindead-dumb to start with but knowing that M$ owns about 15% of Apple, it’s downright idiotic to bar users of an OS off which they derive healthy profits.

So this is how Microsoft treats its publishers!

Makes you want to run the other way… far, far away from that much ignorance of how the Net really works.

If you want to exit the pay-per-click race to nowhereland, join the select club of domain name, web hosting and SSL certs selling by purchasing your own web services store where customers —form all over the world— can buy an unlimited number of services from you, at prices you determine.

If you’re a hard working web publisher looking to monetize your web properties with pay-per-click ads, don’t waste your time knocking on Yahoo!‘s door!

You see, Yahoo! is a bizarre company.

It has made the awesome email service and yet, it has managed to completely mess up its pay-per-click ads business by severely restricting it to…

its own network (of course);

US-based publishers only — who are only accepted through the lesser known “invitation process”… which you can’t initiate, per se, by just completing their form; and

the publishers who happen to be visited by hundreds of thousands of unique visitors, everyday.

So you see why it might be a HUGE problem to become a Yahoo! ads publisher. It’s next to impossible, for normal human beings.

And if that wasn’t enough to turn you off, Yahoo!’s ads are UGLY and backwards. They look bulky and unelegant. Plus, they blend poorly in your design unless you’re knowledgeable enough to handle their API (and then, it looks awesome).

Seeing how the Google AdSense pay-per-click are paying (pennies), lots of web publishers are attempting to get accepted at Yahoo! but that currently harder than getting tickets to a Washington Red Skins game (and that speaks volumes).

The real solution for web publishers, is to open up their own online web services store and sell all sorts of value added services hundreds of millions of people want to purchase, such as domain names, web hosting and SSL certs. Get in on the action today with your own store and kiss the YPN blue away, forever!

If you were thinking about monetizing your web site using Yahoo!’s Publisher Network (YPN), you better forget it!

Yahoo! is known to be allergic to anyone but their own. It was that way when Microsoft tried to buy them at a fair price and it’s like that with you, when you hopelessly attempt to sign-up and Yahoo! ads publisher… which will not happen, 99.999% of the time.

You see, YPN is still in beta (!) and available ONLY for US-based publishers.

That basically eliminates over one billion potential publishers (at least 100 million serious ones) and leaves merely a few tens of millions, in the US, who may want to jump through Yahoo! ad-related hoops.

Even though you can waste your time signing up to YPN, the system works solely by invitation so unless you’re asked to join YPN, your chances of getting in are basically non-existent.

So if you manage to get accepted in Yahoo!’s Publisher Network, you’ll soon realize that they have way less ad variety than Google (like 10 to 20 times less variety, at least), their “international” ads are nowhere to be found (it’s US-centric, all the way — they even shut down their European operation, in mid-January of 2009 — wow!) and finally, the ads look bad.

Profitwise, the clicks pay as little as with Google since it’s the same bunch of core advertisers bidding pennies on just about everything but very specific keyphrases for which there is more competition.

So YPN, in its current form, is a losing proposition… from start to finish — assuming you can get past “start”, that is.

If you’re looking to make REAL MONEY instead of chump change, take a look at my full-featured, auto-pilot, everything included online web services shop and you’ll see that’s where the big money is made, nowadays, by smart people like you.

But if you want to hit a brick wall with Yahoo!, be my guest but you’ve been warned…

If you’re still waiting for Google AdSense to bounce back and help pay your rent or mortgage, you may want to consider another alternative because as far as most experts can see, it’s not going to happen soon — unless you jump your site’s daily visitor count into the hundreds of thousands of millions, that is.

You see, the web is a reflection of the world and not just of the United States.

As such, there are more users from China than from the US and that’s a real eye opener. Can you really afford not to sell “something” to these fine individuals who, by the way, generally have a working understanding of English? If you’re smart, you absolutely want to make money with your Chinese, Indian, Brazilian and Russian visitors, to name only those.

Better yet, if you’re based outside the US and want to market web services locally, then your own online store is a must to maximize your ongoing profits, especially with your current customer base.

While pay-per-click ads might yield a $0 profit from each click originating from “overseas”, a full features web services store will generate a healthy profit for you, wherever your paying customer is based. Congo, South Africa or Malaysia — they’re all welcome in my web reseller store (seriously, go take a look at MY web services store).

By the way…

Did you know that 70% of all of Google AdSense’s revenue share went to its “Top 10 Publishers” meaning that only 30%-or-so of their shared revenue went to the millions of “other” publishers… like you, and me.

Furthermore, the top publishers have signed deals with Google that forces the Mountain View giant to share 50% but no smaller publisher knows exactly how much Google is “sharing” with them. It might be as low as… 0% — there’s NO WAY TO KNOW, at all.

With Google AdSense, the numbers that really matter are a SECRET and that tells a lot about the nature of this master-slave relationship.

If you’re tired of relying on only one source of pay-per-click-based revenue stream which happens to be taking, right now, perhaps you owe it to yourself to try something else, namely your own online web services store where you can sell domain names, web hosting and SSL certificates for a healthy profit.

Stop making between $3k and $18k a year busting your chops trying to “position / place” your AdSense “zones” where they’re the most visible and try promoting your own store, for a change. You know stores make money because they SELL stuff… and in this case, YOU set the selling price (as long as it’s over the “buy rate”, which is very low to start with).

It time for you to say “Welcome” to the entire world and since the domain name business is mostly handled in English, you’ll be well positioned to rake in boatloads of money, every month, from “emerging markets” which are GROWING while America is suffering a horrible recession (which we all hope will end soon, because it hurts us all).

Get on the winning team: get your own online store and make the kind of money that’s all but impossible to make, using today’s AdSense.

Web publishers remain committed to Google AdSense even as the revenues are being slashed downwards in a seemingly endless spirale of financial loss of lack of comprehension about what’s really going on, behind the scenes.

Holding on to Google’s apparently sinking advertising ship may be a strategy worth considering because as more publishers opt out, perhaps more advertiser money will trickle down to those publishers who decide to stay but that, by all means, something of a long shot. Better on the future of online advertising is akin to guessing the winning numbers to your local lottery — it’s fraught with wild uncertainty, to say the least.

Even if you wish AdSense will bounce back, magic thoughts might not be enough, in this particular case. Of course, sending positive vibes towards Google, in Mountain View is still a nice thing to do ; )

The truth is, nobody other than Google a few of its major affiliates know what’s going on, right now.

Nobody can be sure why the monthly revenues are drying up but almost every single publisher is feeling the heat from the rock bottom income AdSense is now providing them so, when the going gets tough, a “Plan B” needs to be spun into action.

You could do a whole range of things, depending on your particular talent but if you want to continue generating money 24/7 with the same ease as AdSense (set and forget, basically), you may want to investigate the web services reseller plan I talk about and sell, in this blog.

Why?

Because it works!

And if you happen to have a reasonnable visitor count seeing your ads, it works even more!

Sell web services through your online store —into which YOU set the selling prices, over the low buy rate— and you’ll grow richer with every sale. Domain names, web hosting and SSL certificates are in huge demand and you can be on the selling end.

The store, in and of itself, is entirely automated though you can customize it to resemble your web properties. You can take a look at mine, if you want. Even the 24/7 customer service will answer with the name of your company — wow!

Your visitors will thank you for providing them with such a full featured web services store so don’t wait and make your move. Becoming a web services reseller will probably the smartest move you made since deciding to join Google’s AdSense, a few years back… before the fall.
